Conway--Irene Elizabeth Lee Turner Johnson, age 82, of Live Oak Street, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Conway Medical Center.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late John Samuel Lee and Addie Mae Smith Lee. She was a member of University Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson was also a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She loved crafts. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by husbands, Joe David Turner and Morris Johnson, a son, Iris Keith Turner; three brothers, French Wendel Lee, W.J. Lee, and Prudence Lee; four sisters, Mae Lee Brown, Sarah Athel Ball, Rosa V. Wood, and Trudy Lee.

Surviving are one son, David C. Turner and wife Connie of Conway; two daughters, Alice T. McDonald of Conway, Linda Harrelson Holmes and husband Joe of Conway; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Doug Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.
