Conway-..Aileen Hunnicutt Hudson, age 87, wife of the late Paul Ernest Hudson, and of the Maple community, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Conway Medical Center.

Mrs. Hudson was born in Seneca, SC, a daughter of the late Charles Mickler Hunnicutt and Pearl Susan Brown Hunnicutt. She was a member of Maple Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was on the beautification committee. Mrs. Hudson was owner and operator of Aileen's Beauty Shop for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles J. Hudson.

Surviving are: three sons, Horace E. Hudson and wife Marcie of Colbert, GA, Larry P. Hudson and wife Risa of Columbia, SC, and Dean P. Hudson and wife Patti of Conway; four grandchildren, Gregg A. Hudson, Bryan C. Coggeshall, Jennifer H. Staples, and L. Brannan Hudson; two great-grandchildren, Anna Coggeshall and Wilds Coggeshall; and one sister, Lois Laye of West Union, SC.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at Maple Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
