Conway.....Clara Belle Lee, age 89, widow of Willie D. Lee, of Park Hill Drive, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at her son's residence on Hughes Gasque Rd. in Aynor.

Mrs. Lee was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Lauris and Essie Chestnut. She was a member of Fountain of Life Ministries Church. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a grandson, Bobby Lynn Lee. She was employed by AVX for over 18 years and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are four sons, Wilbur Lee and wife Geraldine of Georgetown, Earl Lee and wife Jane of Longs, Davis Lee and wife Elaine of Aynor, and Larry Lee and wife Barbara of Myrtle Beach; three daughters, Esterlain Butler and husband James of Concord, NC, Elsie Herrington Smith and husband Thomas of Conway, and Sylvia Harrelson of Conway; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Ila Platt of Myrtle Beach.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, at Fountain of Life Ministries with Rev. Jerry Howell officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Wednesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
