Conway-..On Thursday, March 18, 2010, Alma Lee Richardson was taken into the loving arms of Jesus. Alma was born in High Point, NC, on April 11, 1932 to her parents, Troy and Lillian Hardee. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Junior Harley Richardson, and her 2nd husband, Woodrow Harter. She was also predeceased by three children, Billy Wesley Richardson Sr., James Earl Richardson, and Frances D. Wilson, one grandson, Tracy Fogle. Alma had two brothers and four sisters that went to meet the Lord to prepare a place for her, Tom Hardee and Eugene Hardee, Shirley Rowley, Florabelle "Teeny" Skipper, Kate Love, and Margaret Combs. Alma moved to Conway, SC when she was a small baby. She grew up here, and started her family with Junior. Alma was a member of Pee Dee Freewill Baptist Church. She spent quite a few years in the Charleston area, and developed a love of real estate and the construction business. Alma spent over 20 years in Allendale, SC with her second husband, Woodrow Harter, and the two of them built a successful career together. She loved plants and flowers with a passion, and most anything she set her mind to was accomplished. Alma was known for her quick wit and go-get-it style. She is survived by one son, Richard G. Richardson of Conway; one sister, Christine Larrimore of Conway; two sister-in-laws, Janice Thomas and Gladys Hardee both of Conway; one step-son, Woodrow Harter, Jr. of Allendale, SC. Her living grandchildren include Stacey and wife Beth Musser, Wesley and wife Rainee Richardson, and Heather Belsky. She has a total of 8 great-grandchildren. Alma also has two caring daughter-in-laws, Marilyn Bauer and Donna Quick, not to mention many, many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. She will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Pee Dee Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. J.T. Adams, David Hardee officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
