Brenda Annette Stout, age 58, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in her home. Brenda was a beloved wife to her husband, a loving mother to her two children, and the best granny to her four granddaughters. Brenda was born in Frederick, Maryland, on January 15, 1965, a daughter to Patty and Ray Davis, who precede her in death. Brenda met her husband, John A. Stout, Jr., in 1986. Brenda and John married in July of 1988 in Stafford, Virginia, by a Justice of the Peace, in their sweatpants, surrounded by 23 toy poodles; a memory image that is always a good laugh. Shortly after, they moved to Buckhannon, West Virginia, where they raised their family and made lots of memories together. In 2004, they moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where they currently still reside. Brenda is survived by her husband of 34 years, John A. Stout, Jr.; two children, Hannah (Rudy) Pabst, of Loris, South Carolina, and Zackery Stout of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; four granddaughters, Marley and Delilah Stout of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Rylee and Hazel Pabst of Loris, South Carolina. Brenda is survived by three older siblings; Mike (Kelley) Davis of Rowlesburg, West Virginia; Daniel (Lucille) Davis of Moore Haven, Florida; and Beverly (David Taylor) Davis of French Creek, West Virginia. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children. Brenda loved her family deeply and spoiled her grandchildren to the fullest. She had a kind, sweet soul and would do anything for anyone that needed help. Brenda has always been an avid animal lover and loved caring for any type of animal. There were many instances throughout her life that she would have a small farm that would include horses, goats, pigs, and cows…just to name a few. But she always had dogs! Those were her passion. Brenda and her husband had many different breeds of dogs throughout Brenda’s life with her most recent being St. Bernards and Shit-zus. Brenda went to school to become a Certified Dog Groomer and had 25+ years of experience. Brenda also enjoyed watching anything Western, going to the beach, spending time with her family, and reading. Honoring Brenda’s wishes, she will be cremated. Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service for Brenda that will be held at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
