Conway-..Helen Virginia Milus passed away on June 15, 2010, with her devoted husband John Milus at her side.\t Ginny was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on March 3, 1929. She was the youngest child of George Kenneth Jones and Alice (Swanson) Jones. She married John Milus in 1964, and they were long-term residents of Clark, New Jersey before retiring and relocating in 1981 to Conway, South Carolina. She received a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island in 1950, and a Masters in Education from Rutgers University. She then taught kindergarten for 18 years in the Clark Educational System. Ginny was a talented organist and pianist who loved playing music at the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Sundays. She was an avid golfer, a skilled bridge player, and a fun-loving square dancer. Ginny and John enjoyed their life together which was filled with music, travel and joy. Ginny's love, companionship, talents, and gregarious personality will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank the many friends who loyally visited Ginny and comforted John over the last few years. They also wish to thank Stephanie Rojas and the other nurses and staff at the Kingston Nursing Center for their loving care of Ginny. Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John Milus of Conway; two step-sons, John Michael Milus, his wife Sheila and their beautiful daughter Jordan Rose of Norman, Oklahoma, and Martin Milus of Edison, New Jersey; and two nieces, Susan and Sandy. Funeral services will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1619 Park View Road, Conway, South Carolina on Saturday at 11:00 A.M with Rev. Martin L. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. There will be visiting hours before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church. Relatives and friends are invited.
