Myrtle Beach Jacquelin K. Olivetti Jacquelin K. Olivetti, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Medical University South Carolina Hospital in Charleston, SC. She died of complications from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, she was 72 years old. Jacquelin was born in Kankakee, IL one of three daughters to George and Rose Bulliner. She was married to Alfred Olivetti and moved to Myrtle Bach in 1972 where she worked at the Sun News for 25 years. Jackie, as she was known to her colleagues and friends, retired from the Sun News as Vice President of Human Resources. Jackie was very active in her church and the community. She was a long time member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was a Guardian ad Litem, a frequent volunteer at the Community Kitchen and treasurer of the Myrtle Beach chapter of the DRA (Daughters of the American Revolution). Jackie had dedicated her life to helping others. She is still helping people today as she was an organ donor. Jackie was adored by her five children, their respective spouses and her fourteen grandchildren. Her children found inspiration from her every day. Jackie loved to travel, cook, craft and sculpt. Jackie had a quiet kindness and thoughtfulness that left an indelible mark on the lives of her many friends and family. She left this world a better place. Jackie is survived by her mother, Rose Bulliner Stone;her husband, Alfred Olivetti, Sr.; her five children, Michael Olivetti of Hilton Head, SC, Lisa Olivetti McGahan of Atlanta, GA, Vincent Olivetti of Surfside Beach, SC, Stasia Olivetti Bryant of Columbia, SC and Alfred Olivetti, Jr. of Hilton Head, SC; fourteen grandchildren and her sister, Mary Bulliner, of Kankakee, IL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday and Friday, November 19 and 20 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
