Conway…Mrs. Janice Faye Graham, 79, wife of Nelson M. Graham, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. Janice was born in Marion County on March 16, 1938, the daughter of the late Alice and Aubrey Grice and Richard Watson. She and Nelson were high school sweethearts and married on December 21, 1957. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this December. They are the proud parents of Tammy (Tim) Hardee of Conway and Nick (Dina) Graham of Denver, CO. Janice is blessed with seven grandchildren, Matthew (Agnes) Hardee, Melissa (John) Goldston, and Marshall Hardee, all of Conway, Joseph Graham, Nicole Graham, Anthony Graham, and David Graham, all of Denver, CO. Later, they were delighted to welcome two great-granddaughters of Matthew and Agnes Hardee, Izabella and Marley. For thirty-eight years Janice, Nelson, and their children enjoyed military travel to many parts of the world. Janice never met a stranger and their travels offered her a true chance to make friends and share her love for Christ with those she met. She loved her Lord and Savior and found the beauty in the world God made. Janice loved painting with oils, playing bridge, calligraphy, and meeting families of different countries. She was a member of the Conway Ivy Garden Club, the Monday Bridge Club, and the Conway Lioness Club, of which she served many terms as president and was named Lioness of the Year in 1990. Janice enjoyed attending NewSpring Church of Myrtle Beach and First Baptist Church of Conway with her family. First Baptist Church of Conway was her home church where she was baptized in 1949. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, July 24, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Conway, officiated by Rev. Rocky Taylor. Burial will follow at New Life Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, from 6:00PM-8:00PM Sunday, July 23, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Conway, 603 Elm Street, Conway, SC 29526.
