Jeannette Kay (Brown) Chichester, 74 of Conway, SC passed away suddenly. She joined her husband Chuck and her son Michael in heaven on May 28, 2025. Jeannette was born on July 8, 1950 in Falls Church, VA, to the late Jack Jess and Edna Marie Brown. She worked in the Horry and Georgetown County Court System for many years. She leaves a lasting impression on all those she worked with and assisted during that time. Jeannette had a warm, loving heart and opened her home along with her husband to those in need, giving others a second chance. Jeannette was very spiritual and found strength and comfort in her faith. She was deeply involved in her church, Thee Baptist Worship Center and loved the fellowship she shared with the church and its members. Jeannette deeply loved her family and friends, giving to others unconditionally. She shared a very special love with her husband, Chuck, and missed him deeply when he passed. She also very much loved her son Michael with all her heart. She was instrumental in keeping her family close by calling her brothers and sisters daily. She had a bright and positive attitude that made everyone in the family feel better in times of need. Her laugh and smile were contagious and you couldn't help but smile and laugh with her. Jeannette loved to cook and try new recipes. She enjoyed a delicious meal especially one shared with another. One of her favorite foods was icecream. There was always some kind of sweets and ice cream in her home. She also loved her constant companion, Bogi, her dog. He was a source of comfort and enjoyment for her. If you was Jeannette, Bogi was with her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck, and her son Michael. Jeannette also lost her brothers, Gordon Brown, Jack Brown, and Richard Brown. Survivors include her sisters, Norma Ford, Nancy Moulton; brothers Gregory Brown, Carl Brown. She had a very close and loving relationship with her granddaughter Kaylin Ocampo and her children. Jeannette has many surviving nieces and nephews and extended family. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to all her friends who loved and supported her. There are no words to express the family's gratitude to Pastor Lamar and the congregation of Thee Baptist Worship Center. The family could never imagine the love and support they have received from this exceptional group of people. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request the donations be made in Jeannette's honor to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, any no kill animal shelter, or to Thee Baptist Worship Center. Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway is assisting the family.
