Cindy Sarvis

Conway, SC… Lucinda "Cindy" Sarvis, born May 29, 1954, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at 1:40 p.m., surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her unwavering love for God and her family. Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Sarvis, and her sisters, Glenda Walker and Kathy Bell. She is survived by her son, Marshall Cox and his wife, Jessica, and their children, Luke and Kelsey Cox and Toni Bell; her son, Robert Cox and his wife, Monica, and their children, Lydia, Nataleigh, and Joshua Cox; her son, James Sarvis and his wife, Lwania, and their children, Damion and Devonate McCrea, Juan Sarvis, and T'alia McCrea; and her daughter, Crystal Harter, and her sons, Chris, Corey, and Amear Bell. She is also survived by her sisters, Patty Marlow, Terry Todd, and Sherry Smith, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly. During her illness, Cindy was blessed to have the loving care and support of Mandi Carter, whose compassion, kindness, and dedication brought comfort to Cindy and her family. Cindy was a woman of deep faith who loved God wholeheartedly. Her faith was not simply something she believed-it was something she lived each day through the way she cared for and loved others. She was truly one of the kindest people you could ever meet, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Her greatest joy was her family. She took exceptional care of the people she loved and created a home filled with love, comfort, and memories that will be treasured forever. Before her illness, Cindy found great joy in flowers and growing things. She loved watching things bloom and grow, and she brought that same patience and tenderness to the people in her life. She also enjoyed crocheting, creating beautiful things with her hands and sharing her gifts with those she loved. Cindy's gentle spirit, kindness, faith, and unconditional love made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her family will forever cherish the love she gave so freely, the care she provided so selflessly, and the example she set through her faith. Though her family will deeply miss her presence, they find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and with the God she loved so dearly. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those whose lives were touched by her kindness. She was deeply loved, faithfully devoted, and will be missed more than words can express. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at Old Springfield Cemetery with Rev. Adam Martin officiating.
