Conway Martha Jane Richardson, wife of the Reverend William Alan Richardson of 5980 Highway 65 in Conway, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011. Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of the late Edgar S. and Alberta Sarvis Hardee. A founding member of Good Hope Apostolic Church, she worked tirelessly with her husband to promote and encourage the growth not only of Good Hope Apostolic Church, but also to spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. In particular, Mrs. Richardson was a generous benefactor to missions in Kenya. In addition to her husband , Mrs. Richardson is survived by her four children, Mary Elizabeth Cole (John) of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, Melissa Jane Richardson, Dixie Richardson Porter (Monty), and William Alan Richardson, Jr. (Kecia) all of Conway. Her loving eight grandchildren include Amanda Nealey Coker, Melissa-Karoline Jones, David Landon Jones, Savannah Jane Porter, Charleston Marie Porter, Kennedy Nichole Richardson, Elizabeth Alan Richardson, and Lily Faye Richardson. Additionally, Mrs. Richardson is survived by three great-grandchildren, Trevor, Anna Joy, and Mattox, and her sisters Doris Jacobs (Jimmy) and Linda Singleton (Glen). Jane considered herself blessed to have the opportunity to share over forty-four years with her husband Alan, and their relationship will forever be an inspiration to anyone who knew the love they shared. Through many celebrations, trials, joys, and heartaches, their love persevered and saw them through a lifetime rich with remarkable love and a companionship unlike any other. Memories of times when laughter was shared on the porch, delicious home-cooked meals were eaten around the family table, and sage advice was given to family members and others in need of counsel will be Jane's legacy for all of those who knew and loved her . A memorial service for Mrs. Richardson will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Good Hope Apostolic Church on Highway 65 in Conway. The family will receive friends at the Richardson home immediately following the service.
