Nancy Marie Steiber, 75, of Myrtle Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2022, with her loved ones by her side. Nancy was born July 14, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Howard Robert Rabich and Dorothy Nicholas Rabich. As a young woman, Nancy attended PS 88 Grammar School and later Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood, New York. While attending high school, she met the love of her life, Richard Steiber, whom she wed soon after. Nancy was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her daughter Carey Marie Steiber and her beloved dog Mitzy. In life, Nancy worked as an administrative assistant for various medical offices. Nancy loved spending time with her family more than anything. In her leisure time, Nancy enjoyed making crafts and cards, scrapbooking, shopping, spending time with her dog and travelling as much as possible. Nancy and her family moved from New York to Myrtle Beach and have lived in South Carolina for many years. Nancy is survived by a large and loving family, including her devoted husband of 56 years, Richard Steiber; her daughter Tracy McLoughlin (John), her son Gary Steiber (Natalee), and her daughter Christy Bugala (Peter); her grandchildren Kaitlyn Rhodes (Johnny), Ryan McLoughlin, Sophie Steiber, Gregory Bugala, and Olivia Bugala; her great-grandchildren Scarlett Rhodes and Savannah Rhodes; as well as countless friends and extended family members. A funeral service to honor Nancy will be held on Thursday, December 15 at 11:00 AM at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Carolina Forest (325 Hinson Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579). The family will receive friends during a visitation from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service. The family will also receive friends during a visitation the night before, on Wednesday, December 14 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, also at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Carolina Forest. Following the funeral service, Nancy will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 Hwy 544, Conway, SC 29526).
