Myrtle Beach...Ole W. Jordan, of 36th Avenue North, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Jordan was born in Conway, son of the late Larry and Alda Barnhill Jordan. He was a 1962 graduate of Conway High School. Mr. Jordan was Owner & President of Eastern States Plumbing Co. He was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church of Conway. Mr. Jordan was a lifetime member of Elks Lodge of Myrtle Beach. He was an avid golfer, former President of the Golfsters, an avid gardener and loved to watch things grow; he also loved boating, fishing, cruising the Waccamaw River and Intercoastal Waterway. The family would like to give special thanks to the Amedisys Hospice family, Coastal Cancer Center and Dr. Goldberg & Staff. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by one brother, Carlyle Jordan; and one sister, Wanda West. Surviving are his wife, Susan Jordan of the home; one son, Matthew Jordan of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Tamara Jordan Rimes of Barnwell, SC and Robin Jordan Brunson and husband Shay of Myrtle Beach, SC; one step-son, Curtis Surpless of Harrisburg, VA; two brothers, Bobby Jordan and wife Cee Cee of Florence, SC and Jimmy Jordan and wife Sylvia of Conway; two sisters, Elaine Bridges of Conway, SC and Phyllis Stalvey of Conway; four grandchildren, Jacob Favata, Marley Favata, Krysten Rimes and Cayley Rimes; one great-grandchild, Jaclynne Rimes; mother-in-law, Millie Reeder of South Plainfield, NJ; and two sisters-in-law, Gail Kampman and husband Bert of Virginia Beach, VA and Janice Reeder of South Plainfield, NJ. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Bill Thompson and Rev. Lee Singleton officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
