Ronald Joseph Breznicky age 60, died Saturday March 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Ron was born in Baltimore, MD. to the late Andrew and Norma Breznicky. Family has always been most important to Ron. Ron will be remembered as an extremely funny, compassionate, driven, honest, generous, hard-working and loving person. He is best known for his sense of humor. He started his career in the hospitality industry 38 years ago, and has spent the last 28 years of that time working for Ecolab, Inc. Ron was a founding member, active board member and heavily involved with Tee Off Fore a Cause, a charitable organization supporting Wounded Warrior Project. He is also a Fourth-Degree Knight and former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 11028 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. He recently had the scholarship that he helped create at PBOC renamed in his honor. He had many accomplishments in his life and gave 100% to everything that he did. He was a dedicated man that demanded excellence of himself. Ron will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Survived by his wife Linda of Pawleys Island, children; Kristy White and her husband David of Myrtle Beach, Eric Breznicky and his wife Jennifer of Myrtle Beach, Katie Trantham and her husband Bert of Raleigh, NC and Matt Breznicky and his fiance' Brandi Grant of Myrtle Beach, grandchildren; Landon and Makayla White and baby Trantham on the way, siblings; his sister, Cheryl Derflinger and her husband Don of Arizona, brother, Jerry Breznicky and his wife Kathy of Maryland, brother, Fran Breznicky and sisters Patty and June, his very special mother and father in law Melva and Richard Watkins of Pawleys Island and his special buddies Hunter, Rudy and Toby. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ron's honor to Tee Off Fore A Cause benefiting Wounded Warrior Project: 3617 Kingsley Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 or online at www.teeoffforeacause.org The family would like you to join them in a celebration of his life at a Mass of Christian Burial. This service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island.
