Scott Dennis Grey of Loris, SC passed away on May 22, 2026. He packed a lifetime of spontaneous adventures into his 66 years. The youngest son of Bob and Alice Grey, he was born on October 14, 1959 in Abington, PA. He graduated from Upper Moreland High School followed by a brief stint at Montgomery County Community College. He had successful careers with Marriott and UPS before obtaining his IT certifications. He would go on to retire from a 20+ year career with Bayada Nurses where he was known for his sense of humor and holiday turkey fries. A longtime resident of Levittown, PA he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Regina, and their three children: Erica (Joe), Sharon, and Kenny. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie Kalbfleisch (Kurt) and Bob Grey, Jr. (Meg), brothers-in-law Steve Volpe, Joe Volpe (Linda), and sister-in-law, Rose Smith (Trey), and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, nephew Robert Kalbfleisch, and often joked about fourth & favorite "child", Loki, his chocolate lab. Scott was known for his big personality, over the top stories, and endless hobbies such as fishing, wine/beer making, tinkering on cars, coin collecting, camping, beekeeping, and tending to the small orchard he started in his backyard. He was successful at most everything he tried with the exception of the homemade olives phase. He loved cooking & QVC, and therefore amassed an impressive collection of kitchen gadgets over the years. We look forward to seeing what surprises arrive postmortem. A loyal Philly sports fan, especially his Eagles, he was lucky enough to see all four major teams win championships in his lifetime and loved taking in a Trenton Thunder baseball game alongside his family. Not one to sit around, he was known for impromptu trips like the time he, Regina, and Kenny went to Maine on a whim to get a proper Lobster Roll. Or when he would turn to his wife on a random Saturday and say, "How 'bout some chowder?" and hop in the car to their favorite place in Long Beach Island, NJ. His family fondly remembers weekends spent around a campfire at their shore trailer and many day trips to Lancaster. He was happiest with a cold beer in good company. And while it is impossible to sum up someone like Scott in just a few words, rest assured it was never a dull moment when he was around.
