Tracy Johnson Graham, 49, died August 21, 2016, in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was born December 30, 1966, in Conway, the daughter of the late Jesse Grier Johnson, Jr. and Shirley Long Johnson. She was the wife of Marty Graham, and the mother of two beloved sons, George Maxwell Graham better known as Max and Parker Long Graham. She was predeceased by her father as well as by her paternal grandparents the late Mr. and Mrs. Grier Johnson, Sr. and her maternal grandparents the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Reuben Long. A member of the Conway High School Class of 1985, she graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1988. While at Columbia College, she was quite active in both student government and literary activities. She served as a Washington intern in 1987 for Senator Strom Thurmond as well as a South Carolina Senate Page in 1987. She served in the South Carolina Student Legislature from 1985-88 and as its Governor from 1987-1988. She is listed in the Outstanding Young Women of America 1987. With her two brothers, she owned and operated a third-generation Horry County family business, Johnson Furniture Manufacturing Company, a complete contract manufacturing source for hospitality, healthcare and government applications. In addition, through affiliation with their parent company, the three of them established A Summer Home in 2006 as a specialty furniture source for Myrtle Beach area vacation rental property owners. She had more than 20 years experience furnishing condos along the Grand Strand. Her smile was infectious; she loved people; and her family meant everything to her. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Conway and attended services frequently at The Rock in Conway. She was a member of the Peter Horry Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to her husband and two sons, she is survived by her two devoted brothers: Jess Johnson and his wife Yvonne and Norton Johnson of Myrtle Beach; five nephews, John John and Wyatt Johnson of Myrtle Beach; Ross and Jack Graham of Orlando, Florida; Owen Graham of Studio City, California; and two nieces Marley Johnson of Conway/Myrtle Beach and Macy Graham of Studio City, California. The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, 606 Beaty Street, Conway SC Wednesday, August 24, from 5:00 until 7:00 A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 198 Long Avenue, Conway SC at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 25, officiated by Rev. Dr. William R. Childs and assisted by Pastor Christopher Erde. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
