Surfside Beach, SC Henry Bradey William Henry Bradey, Jr., age 58 of Surfside died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at his home. Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of William H. Bradey and the late Emma Sue Bradey. Mr. Bradey was of the Episcopal faith. Surviving in addition to his father and step mother, Merle of Wellford, SC are his wife Betty Jean Ard Bradey; daughters, Susan Marie Bradey Danny Fulmer of Surfside Beach and Deanna ?Dee? Bradey-Schwind Tom Schwind of Myrtle Beach; brother Charles Bradey and wife Wanda of Inman, SC; sister, Jane Walker and husband Donald of Campobello, SC; special niece, Samantha Ard of Surfside Beach; nephews, Christopher and Eric Bradey and Dayle and Steven Walker and best friends Doug and Faye Skipper of Surfside Beach. Henry's family would like to extend special "Thanks" to Regency Hospice for their care given to Henry over the past month. Also special "Thanks" to Dr. Goldberg and his staff at Coastal Cancer Center and to Dr. Jim Vest, his friend and primary doctor. Henry's favorite hobby other than fishing was riding his Gold Wing. He and Betty became members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association in 1992 Chapter J - Myrtle Beach. During the 15 years of membership, Henry participated in the local Chapter in many areas. Some of those were serving as Chapter Secretary/Treasurer, Assistant Chapter Director, and Chapter Director. Henry also was the SC District Vendor Coordinator for a number of years. In 1995, he and Betty were honored with being the Chapter J Couple of the Year and in 2000 were SC Members Elite. Over the many years of being a "Gold Winger", many trips were made with the 'Amigos' and other friends of Chapter J covering 26 states -- what a ride! The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. Graveside services will be 3:30 PM, Thursday at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.
