Aloma S. Todd, age 64, of Camden, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. After spending several weeks in the hospital and a physical rehabilitation facility to regain her strength, she was at home in Camden with family at the time of her peaceful passing in her sleep. Born in Loris, South Carolina, Ms. Todd was the youngest child of the late J. Malcolm Todd and Fannie Mae Howard Todd. She attended Loris High School and furthered her education in the medical field. She received her degree in Phlebotomy and before her retirement, she worked in doctors' offices, hospitals and diagnostic labs in the upper part of the state. Ms. Todd is survived by her two sisters, Donna T. Stevens and her husband, Bruce M. Stevens of Camden, South Carolina and Sylvia J. Todd of Loris, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Lucian Barney Todd, Jr. She also leaves behind four devoted and loving nephews, Todd M. Stevens and his wife, Karly, of Columbia, South Carolina and Lucian B. Todd, III (Trey), Ross D. Todd and James H. Todd (Jamie) of Loris, South Carolina. She loved her nephews as if they were her own. However, in the last few years her focus shifted to her five grandnieces, Emma, Taylor and Georgia Todd, Parker and Everly Stevens and her two grandnephews, R.J. Todd and Beckett Stevens. She referred to them as "my babies" and never missed a chance to spoil them. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Beulah Baptist Church, 2651 Hwy 66, Loris, South Carolina. The family will be available to meet with friends and family immediately following the service. A private burial service will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, South Carolina.
