In Loving Memory of Ashton Christopher Pell. Ashton Christopher Pell, age 20, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Born on January 2, 2006, Ashton was the beloved son of Jessica Pell, step father Eric Beighley of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and father Chris Pell of New Castle, Pennsylvania. Ashton was known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and ability to make anyone laugh. He was a kind-hearted young man who brought joy to those around him and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A dedicated student, Ashton was pursuing his studies in Physics at Coastal Carolina University, where he was working toward building a bright future. He loved restoring his 1972 Mustang and took great pride in working on it whenever he could. Ashton also enjoyed playing video games, watching and playing football with friends and family, and was a devoted Miami Dolphins fan. Above all, he cherished spending time with the people he loved. An avid animal lover, especially dogs, Ashton had a gentle heart and a special connection with animals. His laughter, kindness, intelligence, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jessica Pell Beighley (Eric); his father, Chris Pell; his siblings, Peighton Pell, Anthony Eckenroad (Lindsey), and Dominick Eckenroad; his paternal grandmother, Lucille Anderson; his maternal grandmother, Julia Keller; his aunts and uncles, Samantha Keller, Kevin Groves and, Raymond Keller Jr. (Ciara) Andrew Keller, Jordan Yeager, Steven Pell (Bree) and Rebecca Churchill (Jon), 19 cousins and countless other friends and family. Ashton was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Keller Sr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Carolina Forest Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Though his time with us was far too short, Ashton will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
