    Mrs. Barbara Ann Cook Warren

    March 10, 1944 - October 29, 2020

    Conway... Barbara Ann Cook Warren, wife of the late James Bruce Warren of 60 years, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 29th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in Charleston County, a daughter of the late Ansel Durwood Cook and Lula Frances Howell Cook. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Cathy Warren. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was the love of Bruce's life, and her children and grandchildren's rock. Other than her Lord and Savior, Barbara cherished her family above all else. She was a spiritual rock to many, a Teacher of the Word, a faithful servant, and a mighty Prayer Warrior. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church family, and friends. She loved shopping with her sisters and vacationing in the mountains. She was devoted to reading, studying, and discussing the Word and praising her savior. She retired from AVX Corporation in 2009 and throughout her life she was heavily involved in ministry as a Sunday School teacher, Girls Auxiliary leader, Children's church leader, Prayer team leader, etc. Barbara was a faithful member and Official Board member of Fountain of Life Ministries. Surviving are: two sons Jamie Warren of Conway and Eddie Warren of Conway; two daughters Cammie Warren of Conway and Crystal Warren Hucks of Conway; 11 grandchildren Shaun, Stevie, Justin, Adam, Josh, Jennifer, Kaci, Danny, Hollie, Darra and Riana; 11 great grandchildren; one brother Ansel Cook; two sisters Linda Suggs and Carol Alford (Jerry) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Fountain of Life Ministries in Conway with Rev. Kitty Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Pauley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at Fountain of Life Ministries. Memorial donations may be made to Fountain of Life Ministries, 3065 4th Avenue, Conway, SC 29527.
