Bobby Brown Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Conway, SC…. Bobby Brown, 80, died January 11, 2020 at MUSC in Charleston. He was born August 15, 1939 in Horry County, the son of the late Jessie Archer Brown and the late Gracie Lee Johnson Brown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Donald Brown and seven sisters, Arlene Long, Mildred Gore, Mary B. Johnson, Wilma Lee Johnson, Robbie Styron, Zonia Roberts and Melba Hucks. He was a member and former Deacon of Jamestown Baptist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher there. Bobby was a "Peacetime" US Marine Veteran and was a retired Salesman with Palmetto Chevrolet. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and believed that God came first and then his beloved family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Nadine Jenkins Brown; his son, Bobby C. Brown and wife, Ruby Ann of Conway; his daughter, Vicki B. Bunker and husband, Ricky of Conway; three special grandchildren, Ashley B. Poston and husband, Brandon, Amy Woodle and husband, Chase and "his special little buddy" Lee Crisp all of Conway, SC; and one great granddaughter, Naleigh Poston of Conway. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Jamestown Baptist Church with Rev. Jamey Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, Monday evening, January 13 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to the Jamestown Baptist Church building fund, 2501 9th Ave., Conway, SC 29527.
