Harry E. Williams, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on December 22, 2019. Mr. Williams was born in Laurens, SC on November 7, 1933 and moved with his family from Conway to Silver Spring in 1968 to serve as Senior Vice President of Landmark Financial Group. Prior to his successful career in finance, he attended Greenville University and served in the Army. He was an avid woodworker, sports fan, and family man. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Pearl Stalvey Williams, originally of Conway. Survivors also include a son, Ron Connelly (Sandy) of Phenix City, AL; daughters, Janice Blankenship (Kirk) of Dallas, TX and Tracy Wahler (David) of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Chris and Justin Connelly, Alice Peters and Annie Blankenship, and Ryan and Evan Wahler; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, December 27, 2019 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rocky Taylor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial Will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of Harry E.
