    James Hines "Jim" Reddick, Jr.

    December 5, 1936 - October 7, 2020

    James Hines "Jim" Reddick, Jr. passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his residence. James was born on December 5, 1936 in Millen, Georgia to James and Marie Swilley Reddick. He served as a corporal in the US Marine Corps. Jim attended Armstrong State University and received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. In addition, Jim was awarded a MA in Business Administration and Management from Webster College. Jim was a registered surveyor, both A and B, and was employed by S. D. Cox Surveyors, Inc. for over forty years. He then was employed at the J. F. Floyd company in North Myrtle Beach, SC. He was an active charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Conway, SC. Jim is survived by his wife, Sara Pettit Reddick, a daughter, Mary Grey Reddick Moses (Ansley), two grandchildren, Ann Tyler Moses and James Thatcher Moses. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Sylvia Grey Reddick. The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Landscaping Fund, PO Box 1072, Conway, SC 29528. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by Caris Hospice and Nancy and Anna of Firstlight Homecare. Due to COVID-19, funeral services will be private.
