Joseph Oliver Lewis

August 18, 1957 - January 14, 2022

Conway... Joseph Oliver Lewis, age 64, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 following a motorcycle accident near Bucksport. Born August 18, 1957 in Conway, he was the son of Doretha Gasque Lewis and the late W.M. Henry Lewis, Jr. Mr. Lewis was a 1975 graduate of Conway High School. He then went into the military and served his country for almost ten years. He worked as a UPS driver for 24 years. Mr. Lewis was an active member of Bakers Chapel Baptist Church, where he served in the sound room and was in charge of servicing the church bus. Along with paternal and maternal grandparents and father, Mr. Lewis was predeceased by a three-month-old brother. Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter, Brittany Lewis; granddaughter, Breana Gibson; brothers, W.M. "Harold" Lewis, Arnold Wayne Lewis; and his sister, Saundra Kate Lewis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Bakers Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
