Loris...Josephine L. Clark, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014, at her home following an illness. A devoted wife and mother, Jo leaves behind the love of her life, Richard E. Clark. They were completely devoted to one another during the joyful 64 years they were married. Together they raised four children, Michael E. Clark (Diane), Steven D. Clark (Martha), Margaret Clark, and Richard E. Clark, Jr. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Michelle, K.C., Eryn, Carrie, Brett, and Evan; 8 great grandchildren; her dearest friend, Shirley Taylor; and her beloved dog, Gabby. Jo was an adventurer of life, always coloring outside of the lines. She loved gathering her friends and family to celebrate life, nourishing all with laughter and her fabulous meals. She enjoyed camping, boating, gardening and especially traveling. As a gifted artist she has shared the importance of seeing and creating beauty in everything around us. The wonder of her art expressed the charm of her soul. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, from the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
