Joyce Duggan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tailor and retired elementary school teacher, Joyce Duggan’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Joyce was called home on March 22nd, 2022, at the age of 77 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Born in Banks County, Georgia, Joyce dreamed of becoming a schoolteacher, getting married, and having children. Her pride was sharing her passion of learning with her students but more importantly being a central figure in the lives of her family. Anyone who knew her knew that she was a shining star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered. She cared deeply for her family and friends not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was the first to offer help and had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. She earned her wings with grace to be with her daughter Leslie. Joyce is survived by her husband, Dan; a daughter Faith, and four grandchildren, Preston, Devon, Madison, and Mason. Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will be at Ocean Woods Cemetery.
