Karl Robert Myres Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Karl Myres left this world too soon on Wednesday, June 8 at the age of 34. Karl felt things very deeply. His devotion to his daughters knew no bounds. As twins, he and his brother, Leo, switched classes at school, had their own language, and talked every day of their lives. Karl had a soft spot for kittens and a wonderfully offbeat sense of humor. The Bengals, Queen, and Eminem have lost their biggest fan. Karl is remembered in life by his 4 daughters, Kira Myres, Piper Myres, Ailani Myres, and Addison Drawdy, his twin brother and best friend, Leo Myres, his other siblings, Leila Myres, Sarah Myres, and Louis Guillebeau, his parents, Bob Myres (and Kyle Myres) and Victoria Guillebeau (and David Guillebeau) and many other family and friends. It is with a sad heart that we say goodbye to Karl Myres or rather until we meet again in Heaven. A Celebration of Life will be 4pm on Thursday, June 16 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel in Murrells Inlet, SC. The family will receive friends from 3 :00 - 7:00 PM prior and following the service. In lieu of flowers, we are setting up an educational fund for Karl’s four daughters, who are 12, 10, 6, and 2.
