Kathleen M. Silverstein, beloved wife, mother, sister and Nana left this earth and joined her soulmate Rich on June 13, 2021. Kathy was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on August 18, 1958 to Dorothy and William Knapp both of whom she was predeceased by. Kathy graduated from Beverly High in 1975 and married the love of her life and best friend Rich on May 22, 1977. Kathy is survived by her three children, and eight grandchildren. Melissa (Silverstein) Nadeau and her husband Ian, of Ellington and their three children Addisyn, Carly and Maxwell; Dorothy (Silverstein) Ruggiero and her husband Anthony, of Somers and their four children Jacob, Lucas, Nathan and Matthew; and Joseph Silverstein and his wife Shannon of Enfield and their son Abraham. Kathy is survived by her sister Shelia and her husband Greg Batchelder of Beverly, MA and her sister Diana and her husband Mike Sampsonis of Haverhill, MA. Kathy is also survived by her three brothers Frank Knapp and his wife Carmen of FL, and William and Robert Knapp of Florida. Kathy and Rich raised their children primarily in Ellington CT where they lived until they fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving down South together. In Conway, South Carolina Kathy made quick friendships of which she cherished, within the Rosehaven community. One of Kathy's greatest life joys was becoming a Nana. She adored her grandchildren and spoiling them on their birthdays and Christmas. She often spoke of how proud of them she was. Kathy was a diehard Red Sox and Patriots fan, who loved chocolate, lilacs, shopping, and her family. She will be forever missed. Kathy's children will receive friends on Friday June 18, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will be in Ellington, CT. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
