Lawrence "Norman" Harnden Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lawrence “Norman” Harnden age 75 of Surfside Beach, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at his residence. Norman was born in Washington, DC to the late Louise and Lawrence Harnden. Norman was a US Army veteran and worked as a meatcutter for Giant Food, Inc. in Waldorf, Maryland. Following his move to Surfside Beach SC he enjoyed umpiring several softball leagues. Norman is survived by his wife Nancy of 47 years, daughter Kelli (George) Wilkey of Waldorf MD, daughter Karin Harnden of Surfside Beach, SC, and son Kevin (Jaime) Harnden of Mechanicsville, Virginia; grandchildren Luke, Ryleigh, and Blake; and brothers Charles, Robert and Larry Harnden. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel in Murrells Inlet, SC with the Rev. John Sullivan officiating. The burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetry in Conway, SC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel in Murrells Inlet, SC. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the burial at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, Murrells Inlet, SC.
