Marlin Irene Wieland Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marlin Irene Wieland, age 85, passed away Thursday June 9, 2022 at Inlet Coastal Resort. Marlin was born on February 25, 1937, in Sabillasville, MD, to the late Louis and Edna Brown. She was a member of Belin United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Gilbert “Gil” Wieland and brothers Charles and David Brown, sister Leatrice Shoemaker, and son Douglas Eisler. Marlin is survived by her daughter-in-law Chris Eisler of Grove City, PA. grandchildren Nicole Cunningham of Saxonburg, PA, Drake Eisler of Grove City, and Christopher Wieland of Los Angeles, CA; Stepson Gilbert Wieland and his wife Manhal Wieland of Columbia, SC; Step-daughters Melissa Ward of Selinsgrove, PA and Gretchen Wieland of Lake Arrowhead, CA; Brother Louis Brown of Sabillasville, MD; and sister Georgia Walker of Knoxville, TN; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Marline will be inurned in Belin United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made in Marlin’s honor to Belin United Methodist Church or the Horry County Humane Society, Murrells Inlet, SC. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is assisting the family.
