Murrells Inlet ..….. Michael “Swannie” Keohane, age 60, passed away Saturday December 19, 2021, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born on February 9, 1961, in Boston, Mass, to the late James and Ruth Keohane. Michael marched to the beat of his own drummer, he was intellectual, knowledgeable, generous, kind and charismatic. To sum him up, he was one of a kind! He was a history buff, he enjoyed going to the beach, cooking and trying different kinds of foods. He was a huge Patriots fan and loved all kinds of sports. Michael is survived by his sister Carol Ann Keohane of Murrells Inlet and his brother Jay Keohane also of Murrells Inlet; beloved long time friend Donna Sherman of Conway. He had a host of friends from both the Marion and Myrtle Beach PSI group that cared about him deeply. He also had many other good friends from his time in New Jersey. A Celebration of Life Service will be held, 1:00 PM on Tuesday December 28, 2021, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. A visitation will take place from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
