Nancy J. Gibson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Conway.... Nancy J. Gibson, age 71, wife of thirty years to Bruce Gibson, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Nancy loved to travel, seeing many areas of the country, especially the southern states. She collected unique items and antiques from each traveling adventure. Nancy had a passion for collecting all types of cookbooks, and sharing recipes with friends and family. Every year she looked forward to their annual trip to see the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains where they would go sightseeing and visit craft fairs. Her children and her grandchildren were her love to spoil at every opportunity. She enjoyed sending gifts of all sorts, baking them cookies and magazine subscriptions to suit them all. Mrs. Gibson was born in San Gabriel, California, a daughter of the late Floyd Gaston and Harriet Ann Crawford Still. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the National Park Service as a Budget Analyst. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Still and a sister, Karen Still. Surviving in addition to her husband are: two daughters, Audrey Matthews (Jeffrey) of McKinney, TX and Brittany Balagtas (Geraldo) of Charleston, SC; two step-children, Jason Gibson of Fresno, TX and Elisa Tuffy (Michael) of Clarks Summit; ten grandchildren, Kiersten Matthews, Paige Matthews, Dylan Matthews, Marcelo Balagtas, Saoirse "Zsa Zsa" Balagtas, Jared Gibson, McKenna Gibson, Zachary Cosner, Hayley Cosner, and Macey Tuffy; one sister, Kelsie Lloyd of California; one niece, Christie Still; and two nephews, Corey Lloyd and Ryan Lloyd. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Pastor Pam Muise officiating. Live stream of the service will be available through Goldfinch website. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
