Nick Galanti

February 17, 1949 - January 10, 2022

Nick Galanti, 72, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on January 10th, 2022. Nick was born on February 17th, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, son of Marie and Pasquale Galanti and brother of Joseph Galanti. In life, Nick was a talented graphic designer who founded his own advertising company in New York City, which he ran for over 20 years. In 2006, he moved to South Carolina seeking a better quality of life and to enjoy the ocean. Never one to sit still, Nick most recently served as Graphics Leader at an event planning company in Murrells Inlet, where he led the design team helping to make clients’ visions reality. Outside of his profession, he spent his free time writing books, painting, working out, sculpting, and grooming his bonsai trees, some of which he owned for over 35 years. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter, as well as a gun enthusiast. Nick is survived by his oldest son, Nick F. Galanti, and youngest son Christian Galanti, and his two grandchildren Madeline and Nora Galanti. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
