Loris... Patricia "Pat" Blankenship, age 82 passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born February 27, 1940 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cully Edward Harvey and Lorainne Cales. Mrs. Blankenship retired after 25 years as the payroll manager from Ashland Oil in Ashland, KY. Her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting, and playing games on her kindle. Mrs. Blankenship loved her family dearly. She was proud of having been baptized at Pineville Methodist Church in Kentucky. Along with her parents, Mrs. Blankenship was predeceased by her husband, George Paris Blankenship, Jr. Surviving are two daughters, Teresa T. Poole and Robin Prichard (Scott); three grandchildren, Dr. Wesley Prichard, Samantha Coffey (Colt), and Mattie Poole; and two great grandchildren, Chandler Rene Poole and Bristol Quinn Coffey. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery officiated by Chaplain Terry Faulkenbury.
