Silver Spring, MD... Pearl Stalvey Williams, wife of the late Harry E. Williams, died in Silver Spring, MD on August 1, 2020. Pearl was born in Conway, SC on December 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Rev. B. S. (Bob) and Maude Causey Stalvey. She was the ninth of fourteen children. Of the children who lived to adulthood, four brothers: Malachi, Lloyd, Chalmer, and Lynwood Stalvey; and three sisters: Elnita Richardson, Marjorie Foxworth, and Bonnie Hardee predeceased her. Survivors include a son, Ron Connelly (Sandy) of Phenix City, AL; daughters, Janice Blankenship (Kirk) of Dallas, TX and Tracy Wahler (David) of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Chris and Justin Connelly, Alice Peters and Annie Blankenship, and Ryan and Evan Wahler; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Stalvey of Conway; three sisters, Doris Martin of Whiteville, NC, Sybil Thompson of Conway and Sylvia Clark of Kiln, MS. Pearl and her husband Harry moved to Silver Spring in 1968. Pearl was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 7, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Brian Huffman officiating.
