Regis P. Milan

On August 15 Regis Milan , beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother lost his valient battle with Covid at Regency Hospital, Florence, SC. He was 76. A proud native of Pittsburgh, Pensylvania, he and wife Wini lived for over thirty years in Alexandria, VA where they raised their family, and made many lifelong friendships. Rege worked as an international aviation economist in the U. S. Department of Transportation, Washington, DC for 46 years. He was a Vietnam veteran, member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion and MOAA. He and wife Wini have resided in Heritage Plantation, Pawleys Island for six years, where he was a Board member, golfer, and active in their local parish, Precious Blood of Christ. The couple did extensive travel over the years with Normandy a recent highlight during a Fiftieth anniversary trip last year. He is survived by wife Wini, daughters Dr Melissa Milan of Denver; Michelle Milan of of Reston, VA ; Shannon Johnson and husband Chris of Annandale, VA and the pride of his life grandsons Adam 5 and Ryan 3; and sisters Sr Janet Milan, IHM,of Scranton, PA, Nancy DeRenzo of Murrells Inlet and Ruth and Bill Wagner of Murrells Inlet. Donations to Wounded Veterans Foundation or Purple Heart in his memory are appreciated.
