Robert Joseph Rogers

On Friday morning February 11, 2022, Robert Joseph Rogers passed away at the age of 83. Born in Brooklyn NY, he was the son of Charles and Mary Rogers. Bob and his ex-wife Carmen raised five children Robert, Charles, Cara, Michael and Cathy. Bob had a long career in printing which began as a pressman and lead him to opening Pronto Press in Suffern, New York. Bob was involved with many community services such the Elks club, the Suffern Chamber of Commerce, and the Children of Chernobyl project. He even served as the president of the Suffern Lions club. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. His hobbies included photography, bowling, cruising and he was also an avid coin collector. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, his brother Buddy, son Michael, and grandson Robert. Survivors include his children Robert, Charles, Cara, and Cathy. His grandchildren Christina MacEntee, Tricia Bosse, Michelle Utterback, Louie DiLonardo, Randy Yakal, Ryan Yakal, Eric Tursi, and Tommy Jackson. His great grandchildren Skylar Embler, Zoey Bosse, and Michael Bosse and future great grandson Michael DiLonardo. The memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday February 19, 2022, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. A reception will follow directly after the service in the Goldfinch Celebration Center.
