Conway………… Mr. Robert K. Walsh, 75, husband of Dorothy Walsh, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 with his wife by his side. Born May 8, 1945 in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Patrick Knox Walsh and the late Eleanor Lunz Walsh. Bob worked as a driver for the Bonanza Bus Company and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a very fun-loving and easy-going person and had a knack for always making people laugh. Bob was happiest when surrounded by family and friends and he was an avid NY Yankees fan. He loved to travel and enjoyed vacations to St. Martin for 13 years. His afternoons were spent enjoying a cigar and his favorite cocktail. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, the love of his life, Dorothy; his sister, Maureen Beyer of Colts Neck, NJ; his nephews, John Beyer, Matthew Beyer, Thomas Walsh, and Brian Walsh; his nieces, Christine Feldman, Carolyn Nixon, and Susan Hartsgrove; and his beloved fur pals, Boomer and Beasley. Mr. Walsh was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Walsh. In accordance with current guidelines, attendance at both the funeral service and visitation will be limited and face coverings and social distancing will be required.
