Loris....Mr. Rossie E. Watts, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Mr. Watts was born in Horry County, a son of the late Everett Watts and the late Sadie Bell Martin Greenwood. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a long distance truck driver for many years. Mr. Watts was a member of Cane Branch Baptist Church and loved fishing and crafting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Clara K. Watts, a sister; Patricia Causey, and two brothers; Jimmy Watts and Dale Watts. Survivors include three daughters; Patricia Allen of the home, Brenda Soles of Whiteville, NC, and Tammy Suggs (Teddy) of Loris, two sons; Darrell Phillips (Koni) of Green Sea and Richard Phillips of Loris, three sisters; Marie Cooper (Tom) of Loris, Bonnie Tindall of Conway, and Jewell Eaton (James) of Aynor, two brothers; Hugh Greenwood of Loris and Joseph Greenwood of Aynor, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A graveside service, with Military Honors, will be held Friday, October 18, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Darrell Phillips will be officiating.
