Theresa M. Bormes

Tabor City, NC Theresa Marie Bormes, formerly of Horsham, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was 50 years old. Theresa is survived by her parents Donald O. Bormes, Sr. and Barb Bormes; her siblings, Kimberly Bormes (Ed), Tammy Moran (Pat), Donald O. Bormes, Jr. (Nancy), Mark Bormes, Joshua Bormes, and Michael Bormes (Amanda); and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her mother, Shirley A. Lakomek and her brothers Joseph "Joey" Bormes and Donald "D. R." Bormes. She was the Godmother to Erin Nicole Moran and Kathryn "Katie" Bormes. Theresa was a superb athlete as she played Pop Warner football, soccer, and loved playing basketball for Hatboro Horsham High School where she made lifelong friends. She studied at Montgomery County Community College. She moved to North Carolina in her late 20's because she loved the beach, ocean, and year-round warmth. Theresa lived life on her own terms, having freedom and flexibility to do what mattered most to her. She will be missed by her family and close friends. The Memorial Service will be private at the convenience of the family, while a Celebration of Life service will be announced at a future time.
