Theresa Miner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Theresa (Terry) Miner (Fariello) of Conway, SC, age 77, died on March 9th, 2022, of cancer. She faced cancer with awe-inspiring grace and strength. Even with cancer, we all managed to find times of laughter and always love. Terry was born on May 13th, 1944, in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of the late Angelina (Campanelli) and Giuseppe Fariello. She grew up the youngest of 7 siblings and lived a life surrounded by a family who loved her dearly. She is predeceased by her siblings: Irene Justi, Frank Fariello, Rose Miano, Thomas Fariello, and Antoinette Cantalupo. She is survived by her sister, Marie Balsamello. Terry was married to the love of her life, Jim Miner, on June 4th, 1966. They had been married for 56 years. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters Ann-Michelle and her husband, Joseph. Jennifer and her husband, Gerrit. She raised her daughters to be strong independent women. Terry would comment every now and then she made her daughters too independent. She always considered her grandson Zachary as her greatest gift and joy. She loved him so dearly. When he walked into the room, her whole face always lit up. In addition to the above, Terry is survived by her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins. Terry was a graduate of Ramapo College earning a B.S. degree in Human Resources. She retired from Orange & Rockland Utilities in 2000 after a rewarding career. She enjoyed helping others. Terry loved her family fiercely. She loved to read, watch her shows, especially, Oak Island (always hoping they would finally find something), and her movies/musicals. She loved to laugh, go out to eat, play golf, treat herself to ice cream, dance, go to doo-wop shows and listen to the music of Frankie Avalon and Andrea Bocelli. Do any of the above to honor her memory. Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Goldfinch Conway Chapel, 606-610 Beaty Street Conway, SC 29528. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4 pm Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, at The Catholic Community at Carolina Forest, 1300 Carolina Forest Blvd. Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
