William "BB" June Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Conway… William "BB" June Jr., 72, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. Born February 11, 1950, in Greeleyville, SC the son of William and Sarah Whack June. He was a graduate of Greeleyville High School, after graduation he served a short tour in the U S Army, He then went to New York where he was a professional window washer for many years. He then moved to South Carolina to retire and be able to spend time with his family. A humble man, he worked hard and played harder. If you knew him, you loved him. BB had a passionate and energetic personality that's impossible not to admire, even from afar. He was outspoken and can even be perceived as having a strong personality. Always doing things and extending himself to others out of the kindness of his heart. Loving and loyal to those around him, a true family man. Anyone he was around considered family. And he always treated them as such. Always having sincere and intense conviction. He said what he meant and meant what he said. Unapologetically. Along with his parents, William was predeceased by a wife, Gail Norman June, sisters, Hilda June and Deana June, and a brother Harry June. Surviving are his two children, William June III, and Bernetia June; grandchildren; Shadasia Glenn, Diamonique June, William J. June, Anaiya June; great grandchild, Jahmir Glenn; brothers, Franklin June (Gerry) and Harry Paisley; Sisters, Mamie Smalls, Barbara Carr, Elizabeth Newkirk, Katherine Billups; an uncle Eugene Whack and an aunt Dora Sessions and many nephews and extended family. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Dr. James Williams officiating.
