Beverly Jeanette Padgett Todd, age 69, widow of Henry Ford Todd, of Radio Lane, died Monday, July 9, 2007 at Conway Medical Center. Mrs. Todd was born in Athens, GA, a daughter of the late Ervin Eugene Padgett, Sr. and Zetta Mae Hale Padgett. She was a member of Thee Baptist Worship Center of Conway and also was involved with the Conway Senior Center. Mrs. Todd was a dedicated family matriarch that cared for her family through illnesses and difficult times. She enjoyed volunteering her services to whomever needed her help. Mrs. Todd was predeceased by a brother, Ervin Eugene Padgett, II; a sister, Ann Doscher; and a special uncle, Talmadge Hale. Surviving are: three sons, James Alton Todd and wife Wendy of Altoona, IA, Steven Curtis Todd and wife Karen of Columbia, SC, Timothy Wayne Todd and wife Melissa of Myrtle Beach, SC; three daughters, Glenda Jean Wilson and husband Chuck of Land O' Lakes, FL, Victoria P. Lilly and husband Larry of Conway, SC, Anita Elaine Todd Case and husband Joe of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Dayv Cox and wife Latishia, Sandy Williams and husband Larry, Stephanie Huntley and husband Jeff, Matthew Todd and wife Jennifer, Courtney Boulware and husband David, Sammy Todd , Bobby Todd, Mariah Todd, Nicholas Todd, Ashley Todd, and Evan Todd; great-grandchildren, Tori Watts-Williams, Leah Boulware, Maddie Huntley, Hali Boulware, Jonathan Williams, Kelson Cox, Seth Boulware, Kyler Cox, Corbin Todd, Aubrey Todd, Starlena and Destiny; two step-daughters, Linda C. Ziglar and husband Bobby of Alabama, and Mary Todd Hart of Georgia and one step-son, Henry Randall Owens. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 12, 2007 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Lamar Boulware officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Avenue N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 or to the American Lung Association of South Carolina, 1817 Gadsen Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
