On Thursday, August 27, 2020 Rev. Everette Earl Nobles met his best friend and entered the arms of Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 20, 1933 in Aynor, South Carolina to Victor and Viola Nobles, and a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church which he attended '9 months before he was born'. He was blessed with a loving and large family, a total of 14 brothers and sisters, who remained the best of friends over the years. He was a proud member of the United States Army and loved his country, serving in Vietnam, Germany and Korea. He loved every person he ever met, and would want every one of you to know that he loves you and Jesus loves you. Known to most as Pappy, Preacher Earl or Pastor Earl, he pastored at Rehobeth Baptist Church, Gapway Baptist Church, Horry Baptist Church, Oakdale Baptist Church and Lawndale Baptist Church. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Association and the Bi-Vocational Ministers. He loved to visit people, loved to fish, loved Nascar and Gamecock Football. Any child knew that he would always have candy and a Little Debbie cake for them and he would give you the last dollar in his pocket. He was so incredibly proud of his family, bragging on them every chance he could get. He is predeceased by his mother and father, his brothers William, Enoch, Dennis, Robert and his sisters Gladys, Mary, and Bet, and brothers and sisters in love. He is survived by the love of his life of 67 years, Molly 'Nanny', who taught us all what a Godly marriage should be; His children, Wayne (Karen), Dennis 'Denny' (Debbie), and Kay 'Kukka'; His grandchildren Adrianne (Luke), Ilissa, and Wesley (Stephanie); and His great-grandchildren Calista, Eleanor, Samantha and Summer; His brothers Billy, Leneau, Raymond and Larry and his sisters Naomi and Cat, his brothers and sisters in law, dozens of nieces and nephews and a pile of young'uns both by blood and by love. The family will forever be grateful for the love poured out for many years from his friends and family, and the wonderful care he received over the years from Pansy Cooper, Kimberly Spivey, Julia Brown, Mark Karavan, Joseph Healy, the team at Agape Hospice, the staff at Carolina Gardens of Conway, Mrs. Gloria from Griswold Home Care and Tammy McCracken. If you ever took him loafing, went fishing with him, met him for lunch or received a phone call from him, you were blessed beyond measure. In leiu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your church, Rehobeth Baptist Church, Agape Hospice or to the American Heart Association. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Rehobeth Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Stevie Baker, Rev. Mack Hutson, and Rev. Jimmy Floyd. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2020. In accordance with current CDC regulations face masks must be worn and social distancing observed during both the visitation and funeral service.
