Louise Gasque Richardson, 74 (born June 12, 1951), of Loris, South Carolina, passed away at McLeod Health Loris after an extended illness on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of the late Mr. Hubert Gasque and Mrs. Allene Gasque of Aynor, South Carolina. She retired after working as the Emergency Department Unit Coordinator for McLeod Seacoast. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed gardening, sewing, camping, fishing, and going to the beach. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren. She was an active member in her church, Body of Believers. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Mr. David M. Richardson, of 38 years. Mrs. Richardson had three children: a daughter, Joanie C. Richardson (Kent); an infant son, J. Brian Cribb (deceased); and a son, J. Matthew Cribb. She was also the loving mother to a stepson. Danny Richardson (deceased). Mrs. Richardson is also survived by: grandsons, Jordan (Emily) Richardson, Cole Richardson, and Matt Cribb; granddaughters, Breigh Richardson and Brooke Cribb, step-grandsons Brye Richardson, Leland Richardson, and Wyatt Richardson; and a great grandson, Lincoln Richardson. Mrs. Richardson had four siblings including: Junior Gasque (deceased), Edna Bell Strickland, Purley Gasque, and Richard Gasque (deceased). Mrs. Richardson's funeral will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1 pm in the chapel of Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway, South Carolina. The family will receive visitors at noon prior to the service with Interment to follow at Princeville Cemetery in Loris, South Carolina. Reverend Lloyd Williamson and Reverend Larry Johnson will be officiating. Mrs. Richardson's children and grandchildren would like to express their extreme gratitude for the dedicated and loving care given to her by her husband, David M. Richardson, throughout her time of illness. David's tireless care for Louise was a living testament to servant leadership, honoring his vows with a selfless devotion that inspired everyone who witnessed it.
